The center dial adjusts the razor blade to cut more or less hair depending on the setting you choose. The handle can be adjusted for right or left hand use by depressing the lever on the bottom of the handle and swiveling the top of the comb until it locks into place. For hairstyling, comb hair and hold a section of hair out with the other hand. Take the Razor Comb and apply at a 30 degree angle to the hair. Slide razor into hair and stroke the razor comb downward in a smooth even motion.
