1. Wash hands before removing product from package.  Hold the bridge with curved arms facing toward you and the paddles facing up and away from you.
2. Gently rotate the Mute into your nose by placing the curved arms in first while tilting the bridge upwards as you insert it--the device has been designed to follow the natural curves inside your nose.
3. When inside your nose, the arms of the device will wrap up and around the inside of your nostrils.  
4. You may need to adjust the placement of the product by pushing the bridge up towards the tip of your nose.  
5. To achieve optimal fit, you may need to expand or contract the paddles by gently pulling or pushing the paddles with your fingers, which will activate the ratchet mechanism.
