It is important to know what size of slices you are buying.All of our slices are cut from roots that come from our gardens in Marathon County, Wisconsin, USA.
Roots are graded on a grading scale that was developed by Paul Hsu when he started his business many years ago. Larger roots are used for cutting into slices.
Important to note: Each size of Medium-Large Slices starts with a layer of sorted root slices on the top. Underneath, you will find an assortment of mixed slices that can be used for tea's, cooking, or direct consumption.
