The 3D sensor stick assembly needs to be replaced when your Joycon wireless controller has the problem of stick drift, creeping, shuttering, a blind sport, a dead spot, a dead zone, no reaction when click or wouldn't center after years of wear and tear.
Dismantle the pads with included tri-wing driver, cross screwdriver and spudger pry tool. Swap the new stick assembly for the problem ones. Carefully insert the flexible cable in with included tweezer. Calibrate the new analog sensor in Nintendo Switch settings.
