In the heart of the Aztec city, a temple has been erected to honor the gods, and players must compete to become the empire’s most celebrated painter. Your task is to decorate the temple walls by painting magnificent feathered snakes known as Cóatls using head, tail, and body cards. Throughout the game, players strategically play cards to create specific color patterns that fulfill ancient prophecies. If you complete a pattern already claimed by an opponent, you can steal their prophecy to bolster your own prestige. The game concludes after five rounds when players add their final heads and tails to their serpents. Ultimately, the player who accumulates the most victory points through prophecy and temple cards is declared the master painter.
