Promenade in The Park Barbie Doll Collector Edition - Great Fashions of 20th Century 1910's - 1st in Series (1997)

Promenade in the Park Barbie is INCREDIBLE!!!!! She has light brown hair, blue eyes, rosy cheeks and a beautiful shade of pink lip paint. Her mouth is closed. The skirts during this time have become slimmer and more tailored versus the victorian times whe women wore large sweeping skirts and hoops. Ornate hats are an important part of the outfit and mattel did a beautiful job with this one. It looks like a black velveteen with white roses and feathers on the back that accent her long sleeve turtleneck blouse and her double strand of faux pearls and dangling faux pearl earrings with black accents. The walking suit has an ebony scroll trim, a satin sash, boots, gloves, and last but not least a matching parasol.
