Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition Play Sets only work in Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition and require the Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition Video Game Software to play them. All previous Disney Infinity 1.0 and 2.0 Play Sets (Toy Story, The Lone Ranger, Pirates of the Caribbean, Monsters University, The Incredible, Cars, Marvel's the Avengers, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy and Marvel's Spider-Man) will not work in the Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition Video Game Software. However, all Play Set Pieces will unlock all associated Play Set Toys for use within the Disney Infinity Toy Box 3.0.
