  • WHAT IS ASTAXANTHIN? Astaxanthin is carotenoid produced from Haematococcus pluvialis microalgae. Research has shown that consumption of natural astaxanthin may support joint health, cardiovascular health, eye health and healthy immune function.
  • ZANTHIN NATURAL ASTAXANTHIN Our astaxanthin begins with the microalgae Haematococcus pluvialis which is grown in a remote, pristine Chilean environment. The microalgae is then extracted by Valensa International in Eustis, Florida using proprietary Deep Extract supercritical CO2 extraction process. Zanthin Natural Astaxanthin is very clean, free from solvent residues, and is also highly stable. Valensa uses an all-natural O2B peroxidation blocker to prevent degradation of astaxanthin during storage, encapsulation and packaging.
  • ZANTHIN PRODUCTION Zanthin is produced by a hybrid closed/open bioreactor system located in the beautiful Elqui valley, about 35 minutes from La Serena, Chile. The initial production of the algae is in a closed greenhouse system, but is then transferred to an open-pond system before harvest.
